The Portfolio Difference
What Makes Our Level 7 Programme Different?
Portfolio’s ILM Level 7 programme is designed for senior leaders, HR and L&D professionals, and experienced coaches who want more than a qualification. It offers a highly immersive route into executive coaching, with the space, support and challenge needed to develop real coaching presence.
Unlike programmes that rely heavily on online delivery, Portfolio’s six workshop days are delivered fully in person at Ashorne Hill. This creates a focused, retreat-style learning environment where participants can step away from day-to-day demands and engage deeply with the practice of coaching.
The programme is highly experiential, reflective and practice-rich. Smaller cohorts help create trust, openness and strong peer learning, giving participants the confidence to explore their coaching style, receive meaningful feedback and begin to develop a professional coaching identity.
Portfolio also brings a strong coaching pedigree. Coaching is not an add-on to a wider training offer — it is central to Portfolio’s work. Led by Jane Harders, the programme combines deep ILM expertise with the professional standards expected of senior-level coaches. Jane models those same skills and standards throughout the programme, coaching, challenging and supporting participants as they develop their own professional coaching identity.
Cannot recommend highly enough – has raised my coaching skills and practices to a whole new level.
Fantastic venue – Ashorne Hill is the perfect setting for the style of this Level 7 study.
Jane has a phenomenal breadth of knowledge about all things coaching, borne out of her experience.
