Our philosophy

Why study with us?

Portfolio specialises in high-quality coach development for leaders, HR and L&D professionals, and experienced practitioners who want to coach with confidence, depth and professional credibility. Coaching is central to our work — not an add-on — and our programmes are designed to combine rigorous standards, reflective practice and practical skills development.

My aim is to ensure that our students receive the highest quality experience, enabling them to develop as exceptional coaches with recognisable professional standards. We’re passionate about quality coaching, and committed to supporting the individual’s exploration and development.”

What sets us apart?

Participants consistently tell us that Portfolio offers a different kind of coach development experience — one that is rigorous, supportive and grounded in real coaching practice.

  1. We are coaches who train, not trainers who coach
Our tutors are actively practising executive coaches with more than 10,000 hours of coaching experience. They bring current marketplace insight, real client experience and a deep understanding of what effective coaching looks like in senior organisational contexts.
  2. Our programmes are designed for depth, not box-ticking
Portfolio study materials are professionally designed, regularly updated and informed by current research and thinking. Sessions are experiential, reflective and practice-rich, helping participants move beyond theory and develop the skills, presence and confidence needed to coach well.
  3. Support continues beyond the workshop room
Students benefit from a high level of individual support, including post-workshop tutorials, supervision, assignment guidance and access to dedicated learning resources. This helps participants stay connected, supported and accountable throughout their development.
